December is the best month in Bangkok, scoring 79 out of 100, with May the weakest at 34. The 45-point spread means timing is worth planning around without being decisive. The good window runs November to December — 2 months within ten points of the best.

March is the warmest month at 36.8 °C and October the coolest at 30.5 °C — a 6.3 °C spread across the year. 309 days a year top 30 °C, more than a third of the calendar, so heat is the baseline here rather than a season.

There is a real wet season here. May to October carry the rain — up to 27 wet days in a month — while January, February, March, November and December drop as low as 2. That 25-day gap is the biggest single difference between a good month and a bad one in Bangkok, and it moves further than the temperature does.
