Best time to visit Singapore

Singapore has no real season. The best month scores 61 and the worst 47, a spread of just 14 points, so the honest answer to "when should I go" is whenever the flights are cheapest. 7 of the twelve months sit within ten points of the best, so there is more than one right answer.

April is the warmest month at 30.5 °C and December the coolest at 28.4 °C — a 2.1 °C spread across the year. Around 113 days a year top 30 °C, concentrated in April and the months either side.

There is a real wet season here. May, November and December carry the rain — up to 28 wet days in a month — while February drops as low as 12. That 16-day gap is the biggest single difference between a good month and a bad one in Singapore, and it moves further than the temperature does.

The sea never drops below 27.4 °C, so swimming is on the table year round. Daylight barely moves: about 12.2 hours whatever the month, which removes one variable from the decision entirely.
