Best time to visit Zamboanga

Zamboanga has no real season. The best month scores 68 and the worst 55, a spread of just 13 points, so the honest answer to "when should I go" is whenever the flights are cheapest. Only 3 months come close to the top, which makes the timing narrow.

April is the warmest month at 29.8 °C and July the coolest at 28.2 °C — a 1.6 °C spread across the year. Around 42 days a year top 30 °C, concentrated in April and the months either side.

There is a real wet season here. May to October carry the rain — up to 27 wet days in a month — while February to April drop as low as 13. That 14-day gap is the biggest single difference between a good month and a bad one in Zamboanga, and it moves further than the temperature does.

The sea never drops below 27.5 °C, so swimming is on the table year round. Daylight barely moves: about 12.5 hours whatever the month, which removes one variable from the decision entirely.
